The Thomas Waugh Emerging Scholar Award
In honour of Dr. Thomas Waugh (Professor Emeritus, Concordia University) and his distinguished career of mentorship and advocacy for sexuality studies scholars.
Eligibility
- PhD Students
- Postdoctoral Fellows
- Recent graduates from PhD program (less than 3 years) in non-continuing academic appointments
Award
- $500
- Free registration to Congress and the SSA conference
- Your paper will be highlighted in the conference program as The Thomas Waugh Emerging Scholar Award winning paper.
Nomination Deadline
- Self-nominate at time of abstract submission by indicating your wish to be considered for the award on your submission.
- Full single-author conference paper submissions due 30 April 2024.
